Senior Wealth Advisor Accredited Investment Fiduciary®

Danny Kates, MBA, AIF, PPC, CLTC is a Senior Wealth Advisor with United Capital in the Holyoke, MA office. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation with nearly a decade of experience in the financial services arena. Throughout his career, Danny’s energy and passion for helping his clients, along with his philanthropic efforts and work within the local Jewish Community, have allowed him to achieve a variety of personal and professional accolades such as BusinessWest Magazine’s FortyUnder40 class of 2013, the Valley Advocate’s “Best of the Valley” (“Best Financial Planning Firm” for three consecutive years), etc.

After moving to Massachusetts from Manhattan, Danny became the Founding Partner of an independent, private wealth management and employee benefits firm called Gaudreau-Wealth New England. As the business expanded rapidly, Danny and his team decided to transition the organization’s momentum to United Capital in order to better support the growing needs of their clientele. United Capital’s platform, technology and true needs-based approach to managing wealth made them the optimal partner for his business.

While Danny truly loves working with his clients on a day-to-day basis, when he is out of the office, he enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife, daughter and their two dogs. Danny is also an avid lover of music, boating, swimming, and snowboarding.
