Charles J. "Rocky" Costa, CFP®MANAGING DIRECTOR
Charles J. "Rocky" Costa is a Managing Director of the United Capital North Atlanta office and a native of Atlanta. Prior to joining United Capital, he had been affiliated with the PPA Companies since 1982. He is a past Board Member of the Financial Planning Association (Georgia Chapter), a General Securities Principal and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Over the past 35 years, Rocky has served a wide range of clients, using his vast experience to assist in developing their financial and personal goals. He and his staff implement investment and planning strategies tailored to fulfill each individual's goals. Rocky has served as an instructor of a preretirement planning course at Emory University's Evening at Emory, as well as leading other financial planning seminars in the Atlanta area. He has served on the Atlanta Journal/Constitution Money Management hotline.
A basketball scholarship took Rocky to Lenoir-Rhyne College in North Carolina, where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration. Upon graduation, he played basketball for Athletes-in-Action and Campus Crusade for Christ and later played professional basketball internationally.
Rocky and his family live in Alpharetta and attend Northpoint Community Church. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise and golf.
