Michael E. Wolf, CPAVICE PRESIDENT
Mike Wolf is a Managing Director of United Capital Buckhead. Mike provides valuable insight on financial and estate planning issues, as well as expertise in matters relating to privately-owned businesses. In addition to working with clients, he manages the day-to-day operations of the firm. Before joining United Capital Mike was a founding partner of Peachtree Investment Advisors. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of an Atlanta based investment advisory firm where he served on the Senior Management and Investment Policy Committees and chaired the Operations Committee.
Beginning his career with Ernst & Young, Mike specialized in both public and private clients in financial services, manufacturing, retail and real estate. He also held several financial and management positions while at Bass PLC and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Mike is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning council. He served on the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Georgia, where he was Chairman of the Investment & Financial Oversight Committee. Mike previously served on the advisory boards of Lekotek of Georgia and Clemson University’s Finance Department. He was previously Chairman of the Charity and Finance Committees of Dunwoody Country Club and also served as a member of the Club’s Board of Governors.
Mike earned a B.S. in Finance from Clemson University while earning Dean’s List and President’s List honors. He and his wife, Chris, have two daughters and reside in Dunwoody.
